Secret Herb Garden | Styled Wedding Story
I absolutely loved being involved in this styled inspiration shoot at the Secret Herb Garden, a wonderful rustic herb nursery and wedding venue in the outskirts of Edinburgh. I teamed up some brilliant Scottish-based wedding suppliers and together we drew inspiration from our surroundings. Garden stonework, old garden tools and nature itself all influenced our work to create this whimsical and romantic series of photographs.
I hope you enjoy them and perhaps find some inspiration for your own wedding! :)

Peebles Hydro Wedding | Sarah & James
Peebles Hydro is a beautiful venue and it was the perfect backdrop for Sarah and James' Gatsby inspired wedding. Its expansive grounds were gorgeous for photographs outdoors and the Bannockburn room, where James and his groomsmen got ready, has to be one of the most awesome preparation rooms! Everything about the day was beautiful, scroll below to see for yourself and look through their wedding story.

Maldives Love Story | Nancy & Brian
I absolutely loved this photo session with Nancy & Brian on the stunning Meedhupparu island in the Maldives. The island has lots of different photos ops from the large palm trees to the vibrant turquoise water of the Indian ocean so we were spoiled for choice. The light is absolutely stunning as well and led to gorgeous photographs as the sun was beginning to set. Aren't these two just adorable together?!
Glencoe Scotland, Highlands Engagement Photography | Yee Wei & Yi Fei
When Yee Wei and Yi Fei got in touch from Singapore looking to capture their engagement photographs in the Highlands of Scotland I jumped at the chance to photograph in this stunning landscape once again. We met up in Glencoe and spent a good part of the day wandering through the rugged mountains. It's such an inspiring location to photograph in and leads to some absolutely gorgeous photographs. It was much colder than the warmth of Singapore (even though it was supposed to be the beginning of summer) buy they both took it in their stride and were up for exploring the landscape. Just as we were nearer the end of the photo shoot the mist began rolling in, giving us that classic Scottish Highlands look. Can't wait to return soon!
Cameron House Hotel Vintage Styled Bridal Shoot
In early spring, I teamed up with a group of local wedding suppliers and creatives to style a gorgeous vintage-themed bridal shoot. The grounds of Cameron House Hotel on the shores of Loch Lomond were the perfect location for the ethereal feel we wanted to achieve! Also, how gorgeous is this Kenneth Winston dress?! Just look at that detail, stunning!

Dundee Engagement Photography | Kudzai & Scott
Today I'm sharing an awesome engagement shoot which I photographed recently at the botanic gardens in Dundee. It can sometimes be a challenge in winter/ early spring trying to find a great outdoor location as often the trees are yet to bloom but I had nothing to worry about at the botanics, the gorgeous greenery, colourful flowers and an awesome tropical glasshouse definitely didn't disappoint. Kudzai and Scott were great to work with and their love for each other was immediately clear from the second I began photographing them together. Can't wait to capture their wedding in a couple of weeks time!
Bogbain Farm Wedding : Heather & Luke
Gorgeous rustic wedding photographs at Bogbain Farm, Inverness.
Engagement Story: Heather & Luke
In 2008, when my photographic career was just a baby, Heather and Luke were the first couple I ever photographed together. Naturally, I was super excited to capture their love again 8 years later during their engagement photo session. We decided on the location of Threipmuir reservoir in the outskirts of Edinburgh as, being big lovers of the outdoors, they wanted this to be reflected in their images. I often travel here as the mix of tree lined, forest paths, sandy reservoir beaches and the distant Pentland hills make for some gorgeous scenery. Even though you're so near the city, you feel like you could be miles away. It's clear that Heather and Luke's love over the years has done nothing but grow and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding day next month!
Engagement Story: Emma & David
The Pentland Hills in Edinburgh were a gorgeous backdrop for an engagement photo shoot with Emma and David. They have wandered this beautiful landscape many times together and so it was the perfect place to capture their love. After 8 years together, they are tying the knot at Glencorse House next month and I cannot wait to capture their special day! It's going to be gorgeous!
During our photo shoot, we were met with typical Scottish weather, constantly changing between rain showers and glorious sunshine, but Emma and David completely took it in their stride and were amazing to work with! Our photo shoot was filled with smiles and giggles, and it's obvious that these two are head over heels for each other.
Love Story: Silvia & Riccardo
At the beginning of April I traveled to the beautiful island of Sardinia off the South West coast of mainland Italy. Sardinia is known for it's sunny blue skies and turquoise seaside and it definitely didn't disappoint. I was super excited to travel to Mari Pintau beach nearby the capital city, Cagliari, for a photo shoot with this gorgeous couple, Silvia and Riccardo. Shooting in Scotland, the weather is often extremely temperamental but, as with every day during my stay, I was met with gorgeous blue skies. I loved being able to shoot in such a gorgeous seaside location as it's not something I get the chance to do very often. Silvia and Riccardo were clearly naturals in front of the camera!
Love Story: Sophie + Daniel
They met in December 2010 while working together at the same store and 7 months later officially became a couple. As they say, the rest is history.
They met in December 2010 while working together at the same store and 7 months later officially became a couple. As they say, the rest is history.
Four years later and it's obvious that they are just as loved up. Sophie and Daniel have supported each other through university, celebrated their graduations and have been on great adventures together. They've visited many places including Krakow, Dublin, Berlin, Barcelona, Rome and London but their hearts will always lie in their favourite city of all, Paris. Aside from travelling the world, they love spending their time together going to the zoo, having picnics at the park, chilling watching Netflix and going for long strolls on the beach. There's also two new additions to their little unit, Crumbles the bearded dragon and Kevin the hamster.
It was a pleasure to document Sophie and Daniel's love at one of their favourite jaunts, Cramond beach, in their home town of Edinburgh. We had a great day capturing memories, I'm positive there's many more to come!
Cramond was the perfect location for their love story with it's mix of seaside and gorgeous fields....
They often enjoy a day at this gorgeous beach together....
Sophie and Daniel's love is obvious from the way they look at each other!
The yellow flowers we discovered in this field made it the perfect place for a photoshoot....
Here's to many more beach trips together! :)
